Refund Policy

OwnCents subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

Last updated: 3 August 2026

1. General refund policy

Except where required by applicable law, payments made to OwnCents are non-refundable. OwnCents is operated by Humanbo INC, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States.

2. Free trial

The verified self-serve Starter, Growth, and Scale plans include a 7-day free trial. Users choose a paid plan, the trial lasts 7days, and subscription billing starts automatically after the trial unless canceled before the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you avoid the first subscription charge.

3. Subscription billing and automatic renewal

  • Monthly subscriptions renew monthly until canceled.
  • Annual subscriptions receive a verified 20% discount compared with paying the monthly rate for 12 months and are charged upfront.
  • Automatic renewal continues until the subscription is canceled through the billing flow or billing portal.
  • Subscription payments are processed through Stripe.

4. Monthly and annual subscriptions

Monthly payments are non-refundable once charged, except where required by applicable law. Annual payments are charged upfront and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. OwnCents does not offer prorated refunds unless required by law or separately agreed in writing.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. The verified cancellation behavior sets the subscription to cancel at the end of the current paid billing period. Cancellation prevents future renewals; it does not automatically refund previous charges. Access continues until the end of the paid billing period if the subscription remains valid through that period.

6. Upgrades, downgrades, add-ons, and usage fees

The verified implementation uses Stripe prorations for plan or billing interval changes and preserves an active trial when switching plans. Add-ons or usage-based fees apply only when they are explicitly included in the active Stripe configuration and the applicable customer terms.

7. Duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorized charges

Contact us if you believe there has been a duplicate charge, incorrect charge, unauthorized charge, or technical billing error. Correcting a billing error is not treated as a normal refund request and may be handled through Stripe as a refund, credit, reversal, or other billing correction depending on the issue.

8. Exceptional cases required by law

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law. If applicable law requires a refund, cancellation right, cooling-off right, or other billing remedy, that legal requirement will control.

9. Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us so we can review the issue. If a chargeback is opened, we may provide relevant account, subscription, cancellation, invoice, and usage records to Stripe, the card network, payment processor, or financial institution as part of the dispute process.

10. Enterprise agreements

Enterprise customers may have cancellation or refund terms in a separate written agreement. If a separate written agreement applies, that agreement controls to the extent it conflicts with this policy.
